Alex Amengual has been back on Mustique and we were delighted to catch up with him. We asked him questions we were really interested to know the answers to and wanted to share them with you....
As we are company owned by and driven by women, we thought we should make a splash about "National Sisters Day" and we would love you to celebrate with us.
30 years ago Mustique would be buzzing for Christmas and Easter but no one visited during the summer months, so from April to November we had a Robinson Crusoe island lifestyle for the children to grow up in.
This is a topic often talked about in our UK HQ. Regardless of age, it seems that we have all practiced one or both in the last two years, with some of our number making a class or two a week a staple in their diary.
We asked Lotty when she had moved to Mustique and how that led to starting her own business; opening the shop and launching the Pink House Mustique website. This was Lotty's response and fascinating it is too:

In support of Movember, Lotty was a fabulous sport and allowed her team to run a competition to name her "moustache" all in order to raise awareness and funds for this important charity.
We wanted to make a fun event and a memorable day so we planned to make mortar boards with the graduates, and never mind about the gown! After all, in this heat they'd be too hot to wear anyway! We decided against the traditional black, and keeping to an "island style" theme we delved into my huge box of old Lotty B silks...
