Yoga with Tati

January 18, 2024

We recently caught up with Yoga practitioner, Tatiana Piedrahita. For many years Tatiana has visited Mustique with her immediate and extended family - they are well known on the island and this conversation with Tati forms the first in a series of interviews with our Pink House "island family":

My family has been coming to this special place for a long time. From a young age, with my three sisters and endless number of cousins, we’d ride, swim, walk, play tennis, hang out of mules, boogie at Basil’s and explore the island.

Back home, over the past decade, yoga has evolved from a practice to keep me feeling healthy and good in my body to a philosophy that touches everything that I do and how I do it. Yoga teaches me to slow down and helps me to grow in my awareness of my mind in order to live a fuller, more present life.

I now have a special chance to bring my practice and teaching with me wherever I go! hand to foot yoga pose activewear on MustiqueWhen we’re on the island I luckily have a house full of family members that, like me, love to wake up with the sun and practice to start our days. Sharing an intention, inviting deeper breath and ushering in connection to our bodies, overlooking the ocean - It doesn’t get much better than that.
