Following the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II, the Early Early Christmas Fair organisers issued a press release which we would like to share with you:
“We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the loss of Her Majesty The Queen. She was the immensely dedicated former Patron of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II dedicated her life to one of remarkable public service, and her unwavering, selfless commitment to her country and people will always be remembered with the greatest respect and admiration. This year we wanted to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee. The 2022 EEC Fair will continue to be held in her honour and as well as celebrating her glorious 70 years as Sovereign, we will now also be paying tribute to her life of service and dedication to others." Caroline Cary, Fair Organiser.
