ICMS RAG Fashion Show 2020

ICMS fashion show

We were delighted to be invited to support this year’s flagship charity fashion event organised by the Imperial College London School of Medicine.

The show was held on 10th March at the famous "Clapham Grand" in London and the venue was packed to the rafters with revellers. As the music pumped out, 8 of ICLSM’s finest male medics took to the runway in our Pink House Mustique trunks and very stylish they looked too!

Additional funds were raised by auctioning off the trunks after the show.

All proceeds will be used to support two amazing charities: Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank – currently under more pressure even than usual, as they are having to close foodbanks in line with social distancing guidelines and provide ‘delivery only’ service.

Schistosomiasis Control Initiative – which, since 2002, has supported the delivery of 200 million effective treatments against parasitic worms in sub-Saharan Africa.

Since this show Imperial has frequently been in the news as leading epidemiologist Professor Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London has been advising the Government and provided the modelling that led to the lockdown in the UK. Imperial has also secured funding to test a human vaccine against COVID-19 and we wish them the very best of luck in this extremely important work.
