The Pink Rhino Iguana is native to the Grenadines and they are often seen on Mustique.
Residents put out water bowls for these shy creatures during the dry seasons and they are therefore often spotted by the Cotton House or by Mustique Island Offices, but get too close and they will scamper off!
Lotty is used to seeing them clamber up trees and in this design has hidden the iguanas in amongst the foliage and large white blooms of a Magnolia Grandiflora tree which, although not native, is the most usual to be found on the island.
Can you spot them in the linens and swimwear below?
Finally, just a little reminder of the recipe for an Iguana cocktail:
1 part coconut rum
3 parts club soda
Generous squeeze of fresh lime
1 park dark rum - as a float
Slice of starfruit (or lime) to garnish
Cin cin!
