Pancake Day
It's pancake day! We wanted to thank you Tallulah for making these beautiful pancakes - think we might all be enjoying our own pancakes this evening, but think these will turn out to be the prettiest of them all!
Brrrr, it's chilly
It looks like this young man thought the water in Mustique was a bit chilly! But we don't think he would be in swim shorts if he was at the seaside in the UK at the moment..
As seen in Tatler
Lotty has been designing some very special "Limited Edition" garments which will be introduced later this year. In the meantime, we wanted to give everyone a glimpse of Lotty's beetle print in this glorious colour-way! The silk twill is divine - you have to take our word for it for now.
Cocktail anyone?
Did you know that there is such a thing as a Mustique Mule cocktail? We think that one of these will get you feeling those Caribbean vibes even if you cannot visit at the moment.
Around Mustique
Just in case you haven't seen this fun little illustration of the quintessential Mustique transport taking a trip around the island. Sketches by Lotty.
As seen in Tatler
"The Perfect Fit" feature in February's edition of Tatler magazine includes our iconic Lotty kaftan in the new whale print in this beautiful bright turquoise.
Photographed on Mustique by Lotty, this is Cosima paddling in the turquoise Caribbean sea, oh how we dream of this!
As seen in Tatler
This month you can see our beautiful new Lotty B Banana Tree print in the hallowed pages of Tatler, which will be on the shelves - or direct through your letterbox - on December 3rd.
LOCK-DOWN
With the initial rush over of trying to get people on or off the island, life has settled into a peaceful pace reminiscent of the early days here in the "low season" which used to stretch from May to December.
FACE MASKS
A friend on the island forwarded an article to me from Forbes Magazine several weeks ago - "Calling all people who Sew and Make: You can help solve Face Mask Shortage!"
FLAMBOYANT
These stunning trees grace Mustique in all their glory during the dry season and the hillsides are dotted with splashes of bright orange......
Alex Beard
‘This will be my 40th year in Mustique. I first started coming here in 1979, 1980. It was very bohemian and wonderful.’ Gazing out from Basil’s Bar, his favourite painting spot on Mustique, this is how Alex Beard - artist, storyteller, and longtime Mustique regular - begins our conversation.
