We are very sorry to report that St Vincent has declared a national state of emergency following a series of volcanic eruptions during the weekend and which seem set to continue. La Soufrière has been dormant since 1979, but is no longer.
Pancake Day
It's pancake day! We wanted to thank you Tallulah for making these beautiful pancakes - think we might all be enjoying our own pancakes this evening, but think these will turn out to be the prettiest of them all!
Brrrr, it's chilly
It looks like this young man thought the water in Mustique was a bit chilly! But we don't think he would be in swim shorts if he was at the seaside in the UK at the moment..

LOCK-DOWN
With the initial rush over of trying to get people on or off the island, life has settled into a peaceful pace reminiscent of the early days here in the "low season" which used to stretch from May to December.
