Short, sweet and seductive, the Cosima kaftan is made from translucent silk chiffon with a deep V neckline. The hand rolled and hand stitched square handkerchief style hem falls above the knee. A romantic, sophisticated fabric that combines comfort, elegance and luxury. The featherlight, semi-transparent quality of silk chiffon silk an elegant silhouette that flows gracefully with your natural movement and has a soft, slightly textured feel against the skin. Silk chiffon takes dye beautifully, allowing for deep, vibrant hues that stand out with a rich, luxurious finish.
Despite its seemingly delicate nature, silk chiffon is surprisingly robust and inherently breathable, making it an ideal choice for warm climates whether worn as an elegant beach cover-up during the day or layered for statement evening glamour.
We recommend:
- Hand washing with care using a mild silk-friendly detergent in lukewarm or cold water. Gently agitate without rubbing or wringing, then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
- After washing, lay on a clean, dry towel and gently roll it up to remove excess water. Then lay flat on a drying rack or towel to dry naturally away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- If ironing is necessary, use the lowest heat setting. Place a clean, white cloth between the iron and the garment to protect the silk.
- Do not soak, wring, bleach or tumble dry
- Never use bleach or harsh chemicals.
