Handmade from fabric retrieved from our archives and fashioned into contemporary silk "bowling" shirts by a team of talented seamstresses in St Vincent, these are a limited edition of just 30.
Every Sea Life print scarf shirt is individually numbered with a hand-embroidered Lotty B label, making them truly unique, collectible items. Each relaxed, boxy fit shirt has been cut from the opulent charmeuse silk and features a camp collar - perfect for sultry summer evenings!
This behind the scenes snap gives you a sneak preview of the wide cut of the short sleeved shirt:
Lotty says: "I was delighted to find this fabric and I love how it looks now - revitalised into this contemporary style using fabric that I originally hand painted years ago."
This photograph of Lotty hand painting the fabric dates back 18 years. Part of the company’s philosophy is to improve sustainability across all areas of the business, so Lotty decided to look through her archive for fabric for the latest “Limited Edition” garment. The dusky pink with contrasting burnished gold on this sumptuous silk is perfect for this shirt - and will look as great with jeans, linen trousers or shorts as with the silk trousers shown above.
The launch is on Thursday 4th August - be sure to check out the website to see some more pictures from the photoshoot that took place in London's Notting Hill at Beach Blanket Babylon, featuring the gorgeous Jack - seen below enjoying a cocktail!
